Rita Mandeiro

Rita Mandeiro is a teacher in the Department of Cinema and Media Arts at Lusófona University, where she teaches Production Design for film and television. She has been working in the audiovisual industry for around 20 years and has worked in the area of set design for a wide variety of formats such as news programmes, competitions, musicals, magazines, children's programmes, sitcoms, soap operas and telefilms.  She has worked for Portuguese companies such as RTP, NBP, Plural, SIC Filmes and Kunal Kohli Productions in India. In 2006, she completed a Master's degree in Scenography for Theatre  and  Television at the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Barcelona. She is currently studying for a PhD in Media Art and Communication at Universidade Lusófona.
