Marta Vaz de Sousa

Marta Vaz de Sousa is a copyright lawyer, film producer and academic with 20+ years’ experience in film production and business development. Based in Portugal, she teaches film production at the Universidade Lusófona and Kino Eyes (European Film Masters). Her PhD research within FilmEU and CICANT explores the challenges and opportunities of film production in small European countries. She is also involved in other EU-funded projects, including the Horizon project CRESCINE - Increasing the international competitiveness of the film industry in small European markets, working to bridge academia and industry to support smaller film ecosystems.
