Jasmine holds a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). She managed the Digital Archive and Press Department at the Filmoteca PUCP and contributed to various non-fiction projects that have been shown in Peruvian and Latin American venues.
From a young age, her passion for analog materials motivated her to experiment with them, which led her to take numerous courses and workshops on archival practices. Recently, she has been involved in projects focused on the cataloging and physical-chemical restoration of film and photographic archives.
She served as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Communication Sciences and Arts at her alma mater. She is currently a FilmEU scholarship holder in the Film Memory Master’s program, where her thesis focuses on the digital restoration and research of three 1970s newsreels depicting the urban expansion of Lima’s northern periphery, her place of origin.
