Dorota Vlnová is a graduate of the Department of Documentary Directing at the Film
and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. During her studies, she made a film about Ivan Štrpka, Radiant Places (2018), an episode
about the architect Ferdinand Milučký from the ICONS series (IGRIC award for young filmmaker), and a short film from the Romanian Reading series for Czech
Television. For Slovak Television she created a film from the series Building Slovakia II (Cordial Greetings from the Sobrance Spa, 2022), or the film After Us the Flood (2022) about the consequences of the climate crisis, as well as a series of documentaries The World in Slovakia (2023). She is the author of several audio
documentaries (Eternal Love for 100 Euros, Concrete Hatred, Room for a Maid, etc.). She has worked in the video section of the daily SME and likes to cooperate with non-profits. Currently working on several tv and film projects.
