Diaa Lagan

Diaa Lagan is PhD candidate (IADT-Maynooth), and Artist based in Dublin, known for working across a diverse range of mediums, including painting, 3d installation. His practice draws inspiration from different metaphorical narratives rooted in mythology and history. Alongside these traditional themes, Lagan also engages with contemporary socio-political issues, making his work relevant and thought-provoking in today's global context. Lagan's practice is deeply attuned to the present moment, reflecting the ongoing upheaval of liquid modernity, and the resulting unrest on a global scale.
