WIRE by FilmEU is looking for new research pilots to tackle the pressing challenges of Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities. This initiative supports artistic research and interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together researchers from across our eight European partner institutions to drive innovation in Film and Media Arts.

Eligibility & Requirements:
- Teams must include researchers from at least three FilmEU partner institutions
- The lead researcher must hold a PhD with a minimum of five years of post-doctoral experience
- Each proposal should integrate both senior and junior researchers
- A HEI that led a 2024 WIRE project (Lusófona or NATFA) cannot lead again in 2025
- Project duration: June 2025 – January 2027
