FilmEU starts the design of a New Joint Bachelor - Share your expertise

Dear FilmEU Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the kick-off meetings for the development of the new Joint Bachelor of Arts in Music & Sound in Immersive Multimedia Environments, an initiative of the FilmEU European University.

This innovative and forward-looking programme aims to educate future professionals in music creation, sound art, and audio innovation within the fields of film, animation, and immersive media. It combines artistic practice, technological expertise, and critical reflection while fostering collaboration and mobility across the European campuses of FilmEU.

The purpose of these sessions is to collectively define the programme’s structure, learning outcomes, and implementation pathways, and to identify the departments and institutions interested in contributing to its development. Your participation and insights will be highly valued in shaping this joint endeavour.

Kick-off Meeting 1: FilmEU Industry Days, Lisbon (you can participate in person or online)

Kick-off Meeting 2: Two working days, LUCA School of Arts - Brussels (you can participate in person)

• Tuesday, 27 January '26 | Evening (Arrival)
• Wednesday, 28 January '26 | 09:00–17:00 (CET) (working day 1)
• Thursday, 29 January '26 | 09:00–17:00 (CET) (working day 2)
• Friday, 30 January '26 | Morning (Departure)
