🎬 FilmEU Changemaker: Pitching for Change – Call for Projects
FilmEU invites BA, Master’s and PhD students from all FilmEU partner universities to take part in Changemaker: Pitching for Change, a programme designed to help you develop and pitch an audiovisual project idea for real industry contexts.
This year’s theme is “Exploring the Natural Worlds”, encouraging stories that look beyond the human perspective — from animals and ecosystems to hidden, technological, or unseen dimensions of nature.
What can you submit?
Audiovisual short formats (max 6 minutes)
Fiction, documentary, animation, social media concepts, XR or immersive formats
Target audience: 15–25‑year‑olds in Europe
Early‑stage ideas are welcome (finished projects not required)
Consideration of emerging technologies (e.g. VR/AR, immersive sound, AI, new production methods) is encouraged

Synopsis (400–700 words) linked to the theme
Team description (max 2 people, roles specified)
Optional portfolio (can be sent separately)
What do selected participants get?
Online pitch training in September / early October
Travel to Dublin (October 26–31, 2026 – expenses covered)
Live on‑stage pitch (5–7 minutes, in English) during the FilmEU Industry Summit
