Dublin, Ireland – IADT (Institute of Art, Design + Technology) proudly hosted the inaugural FilmEU+ Joint EDI and Student Support Office Collegium from May 13th to 15th, 2025. The event marked the official launch of the FilmEU Collegium Initiative, made possible through successful FilmEU+ Collegium Mobility funding.

Held in a hybrid format, the three-day event welcomed participants both on-site and virtually, bringing together representatives from across the FilmEU Alliance. Attendees included colleagues in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Student Support roles, members of Work Package 5 (People – INCLUSIVE FilmEU pod), academic staff, and student representatives.

Under the theme “Strengthening Collaboration: Advancing the Joint EDI and Student Support Office across the FilmEU Alliance,” the collegium provided a vital platform for partners to exchange ideas, address shared challenges, and align strategic priorities. Key discussions focused on best practices, institutional collaboration, and future frameworks to ensure inclusive, student-centred approaches across the Alliance.

The outcomes of the collegium will be captured in a forthcoming summary report, which will include proposed key performance indicators (KPIs) designed to reinforce collaboration and impact within the FilmEU+ project.
