FilmEU at the France–Portugal Symposium 2025

On 15 May 2025, Anna Coutinho, Communication Officer of FilmEU – The European University of Film and Media Arts, represented the alliance during Panel 1: European University Alliances at the France–Portugal Symposium 2025. The event was held at Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Nova SBE | School of Business and Economics, and jointly organised by the Portuguese National Erasmus+ Agency and Campus France.

This panel focused on identifying and sharing tools and good practices for welcoming international students within European University alliances. Anna Coutinho presented FilmEU’s perspective alongside Isabel Lança, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Cooperation at Universidade Lusófona, who co-moderated the session with Elisa Pekelder, Head of International Reception at the University of Paris-Saclay.

The session brought together representatives from several European University alliances, fostering discussion on shared experiences and diverse approaches. Speakers included:

The discussion reinforced the value of inter-university collaboration and the shared commitment to improving international student experiences. FilmEU was proud to contribute its vision and ongoing work to strengthen inclusive, creative, and innovative higher education across Europe.
