The EPIC-WE project took part in the European Youth Event 2025, which took place on 13 and 14 June at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. Maria Gonçalves (CICANT) and Inês Nunes (HEI-Lab) represented the Óbidos hub, joining representatives from Hilversum (Netherlands) and Aarhus (Denmark) in two presentations entitled ‘Shaping Europe's Culture Through Games’. The researchers emphasised the importance of video games in promoting European values, game jams as spaces for creating youth culture and the role of young people as agents of change.
